Before choosing it, learn the backup state of each account and the difference between deleting a cloud item and removing a local copy. Cross-platform convenience is valuable only when you understand which system owns the durable copy.

FamilyAlbum is designed around a specific social shape: an invited family group, automatic date organization, contributions, and simple viewing across devices. It is a stronger conceptual fit than a generic album when grandparents or distant relatives should receive an ongoing stream without relying on a public social network.

An invited service is still a third-party service. Review its current privacy policy, account recovery, download/export path, membership controls, and any optional print or premium features before treating it as the only family archive.
